Mayan Apocalypse Sign #1

I’m guessing that the Mayans figured the end of the world would hit in 2012 because of cruel juxtapositions like this:

It’s Ash Wednesday.  First day of Lent.  A day of atonement.  Fasting.  Abstaining.

It is also, by complete coincidence, National Margarita Day.  Really.  I’d have thought it would fall sometime in the summer along with Chips and Salsa Day (if that doesn’t exist, it should!).

I’d call it a case of poor timing, but honestly, it just seems more than that — maybe like a cosmic test.  The only good news is that next year, National Margarita Day falls on a Friday.  It’s probably a Friday in Lent, but as long as we just eat cheese quesadillas, we’re fine.

I love the pictures of Louis-what a cutie (and, by the way, congratulations)!
And, I had no idea today was National Margarita Day-it’s an educational site!
Hope you and the family are doing well.
    Thanks for sharing!
